We’ve learned about the letter x, now let’s learn about X with these letter X kids worksheets!
This letter was (well still is) often used by illiterate people to sign legal documents. I’s also used as a symbol for a kiss in letters (along with O for hugs and kisses XOXO). Let’s make sure your kids will be sending a lot of handwritten kisses soon by practicing handwriting.
Letter X Worksheets
X is for X-ray, xylophone… X is also for all kinds of quirky adjectives and words I personally didn’t know exist. I for example didn’t know that xyl means wood and that’s why the so popular instrument is called a xylophone.
We’ve made 8 alphabet worksheets with varying levels of difficulty to teach younger children the letter X. Using a variety of worksheets will help reinforce the lesson in different ways.
They will be learning an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, tracing letter worksheets, and coloring sheets. You’ll love these printable activities, they’re fun activities for preschool lessons and kindergarten kids. We’ve almost learned the entire alphabet.
The Letter X Worksheets for Kids set includes:

These letter X tracing worksheets are awesome! We have two Capital Letter X tracing pages which are great for practicing on the dotted lines.
This first page has a xylophone on it. The other is large X’s! Both sheets of course helps you practice your letters, but they double as coloring sheets as well. Tracing worksheets help with letter recognition and early writing skills.

This is one of the more simple coloring pages, but still cute. It depicts the letters X along with two xylophones.

Your child will be circling the items that start with the letter X! This would be a good time to learn letter sounds since they’ll be looking for all the pictures that start with the letter X.
