Do your kids love turtles? If so, they will adore this Easy Cupcake Liner Turtle Craft! It’s simple, fun and only requires basic, minimal supplies.
Cupcake Liner Turtle Craft
Cupcake liner crafts are easy and fun for kids of all ages. Using a green cupcake liner to make a turtle was a natural choice, but my little one also enjoyed margin purple, pink, and blue turtles! This simple craft is perfect for rainy afternoons at home, or an easy craft for an Ocean unit in preschool!
To Make This Craft You Will Need
- green cupcake liner
- green construction paper
- small wiggly eyes
- black felt tip pen
- blue construction paper
- crayons
- glue
- scissors
Directions
Invite kids to flatten their cupcake liner. Glue it to a piece of blue construction paper.
Invite kids to draw and cut out 4 small circles, 1 medium sized circle and 1 pointy oval shape. Glue the shape to the side of the cupcake liner to make a head, legs, and tail for the turtle.
Press 2 small wiggly eyes to the turtle’s head. Use a black felt tip marker to draw a nose and mouth on the turtle.
Invite kids to draw an under water scene on the blue paper with crayons. My children drew bubbles, waves, sand, pebbles, and plants.
