Ivy Kids Kits is one of our favorite subscription boxes for kids. I was so excited when they asked us to review their boxes again this fall.
We first tried Ivy Kids Kits when my son was five, so I was excited to see if the activities were still age appropriate now that he is three years older.
This time around, we tried the sibling box. Did you know that you can add a sibling pack to your box for just $5.95? You can add up to four sibling packs per box, so that siblings can enjoy the crafts and activities together!
Ivy Kids Kits are centered around a book each month. The activities and crafts all tie back to the story and the lessons within. Our activities were ocean-themed for the story, “On Kiki’s Reef” by Carol L. Malnor.
The activities are the perfect mix of imaginative play and educational activities. Our box had sea creatures and clay so the kids could create an ocean scene, along with worksheets to teach kids the anatomy of a sea turtle and different species of sea life.
There was also a really fun frame to paint and a seashell and clay to make a sea turtle model.
The activities were the perfect range for toddlers up to older kiddos.
The roll and stamp game was a favorite of the older kiddos. They also had fun with a leap frog game and painting some wooden snakes.
There were more than 14 activities in each box — so many different ones that we couldn’t do them all in one sitting! It was nice to have activities to use throughout the month. This definitely isn’t a one time use box, like many other kids subscription boxes. It’s one of our favorites for a reason!
