Popsicle Stick Frog Craft
This craft only takes a handful of supplies and all the supplies are fairly cheap, which is also great.
Supplies Needed To Make a Popsicle Stick Frog Craft:
- Green popsicle sticks (or plain ones, paint them green first)
- 2 large googly eyes
- Red construction paper
- 2 pieces of scrap white cardboard (can be from a paper plate or toilet paper tube)
- Glue
- Scissors
How To Make A Popsicle Stick Frog:
Step 1
Place 4 or 5 popsicle sticks next to each other.
Step 2
Glue a popsicle stick to the top and bottom of the row. This will act as the frog legs, and hold the other popsicle sticks together (the frog body).
Step 3
Cut a 1″ wide strip of red construction paper. Roll it up and glue onto one end of the frog body. After all, a frog needs his long curly tongue!
Step 4
Cut the scraps of cardboard into ovals, make a fold at one of the oval, you will place a line of glue on this fold and use it to attach the eyes to the frog (Refer to photo.)
Step 5
Glue the googly eyes to them. Let dry.
