Babies are adorable!! And preparing for one can be daunting! As a mom of six it took us half a decade to figure out what we needed (food masher!) and what was useless (bottle warmer).
.
Here is our list of what has worked for our family. Many of these products (affiliate links) we are *still* using even though my youngest is soon-to-be-three.
Fresh Food Teether
Teething was one of the rough times in my kiddos lives. Give your kids something interesting to both bring comfort and take their mind off their sore gum line. Put fruit/veggie chunks inside the teether. They can chomp away.
NUK Mash and Serve
This masher is perfect for combining soft foods quickly so your tots can start eating with the rest of the family. When your kids are past the mashing stage keep it around. It is great for whipping up a batch of guacamole.
OXO Tot Food Blocks
Make your own baby food – and freeze the extras into these nifty pre-portioned serving blocks. You can re-heat directly in the container.
Baby Bjorn Soft Bib
This is the BEST bib ever! It is solid rubber – it won’t get soggy, has a bowl-like bottom to collect the drips, is easy to wipe and when wiping is not enough, throw it into the dish washer on the top rack. Brilliant.
.
Three Sprouts Towel
The characters at 3 Spouts are among my favorites! These towels are super cute, chic and durable!
.
Boon Grass Drying Rack.
How cool! It looks so fresh on the counter top… You can use it to dry placemats, bottles, and all those random small parts that come with baby things.
Caterpillar Snack Stack
You’ll thank me, I promise. These fit into a diaper bag easily, and are perfect if you are a mom of multiples or if you are going to be out for awhile. You can even put some ice cube balls in the middle section to keep the ends cool.
Boon Switch Containers
It’s a plate, a bowl, a portable container, all-in-one. These are super handy for everything from a meal to snacks.
